Fall/Winter 2012-2013: Make-up trends

This season we go DRAMA!most fashion shows had something big about make up to show. There are of course the classic neutral colours or red lips for the more traditional girls.

Let's start with the LIPS: Like I said dark dark lips.Bloody lips, violet lips, mulberry lips I've even seen blue :p Of course our lovely classic red never goes out of fashion but for fall mulberry was the first choice for Gucci, Rochas and Givenchy.
Leave the eyes with mascara and subtle black or brown eye-liner or pencil.
A little tip before the pictures:If you have a red lipstick and you want to turn it black-ish just apply black eye-shadow (the quantity determines the final colour) on your lips and then mix it with your lipstick.

Moving on to EYES: Go crazy!Futuristic eyes with big lines and weird colours. Prada and Lanvin are only some that showed us this look on their runways. Point is: feel free to be creative and edgy but remember to keep you lips pale!

EYES: Next trend for the eyes is the colourful look. Intense colours that reminds us of summer or more dim and dark mixing it up on the eyelids followed by nude lips and a hint of mascara.  Anna Sui, Roberto Cavalli and Jason Wu give us some ideas for this season.

EYEBROWS:  A very important and definitive part of our face that we tend to forget during our make-up. This time we have to remember. The next thing trending on runway's make-up was the defined eyebrows. Also remember Ke$ha's "we R who we R" video (so not my style)? Well those eyebrows are in! For example Donna Karan, Chanel and J. Mendel. Eyebrows and nude/neutral tones for the rest of the face.

NUDE!: (and I don't mean from clothes) Go natural with blush on the cheeks and neutral shades and beige and browns and pale lips. For the quiet nights out or for work this is the trend we've always liked. It makes women look younger and fresh. It's easy to do and works for every type of skin. The best part about it is that you look stunning without trying. Tip: this year natural isn't about being white and dead. It's all about having color to the cheeks as i9f you were running or something made you blushed. So don't worry if you still can't put blush perfectly cause now you don't have to :p
Dior, Michael Kors, Valentino are some supporters of this look.

Last but not least SMOKEY EYES! We may not always know how to perfect them but we love them! Since it's first introduction this technique has changed from black to bright blue, pink and green. This fall and winter we will tone it down with earthly browns. A look that can take you from morning to night with a slight add of darker shade. Burberry, Louis Vuitton and Blumarine agree with this look.
